Ennis maneuvers through Christian/Catholic dogma with his version of the End Of Days. At times thoughtful, funny, poignant, heretical, conscious, or gory, Ennis does a masterful job of showing that there are human beings at the heart of our religions. Unfortunately, by our nature, humans are flawed creatures.
