Site Update - Of Hackers and Comments June 14, 2008
Posted by admin in : Site Stuff ,As you may have noticed, BDcomics (as well as BDGamer) was down for quite some time. This was due to a Wordpress hack that allowed the motherf*cking hacker to insert bits of code into the websites’ files to forward visitors to a site distributing malware. This led to the whole site being down, and Google blocking the sites from its search engine database.
The sites have been fixed now, and its totally back. I’m currently working on a customized theme for BDcomics, so please bear with the current theme that looks a little sparse.
In ‘good’ news, I’ve installed the Intense Debate plugin on the websites. This allows for easier commenting, avatars, RSS feeds for comments and threaded comments, a thing that I wanted most. Hopefully you guys will like it as much as I do.
Please leave a comment here if you wish to test the new commenting service, or if you want to say something to the contributors and admins of the site.

Zango Workarounds for all Rapidsafe / Rapidshare Links April 9, 2008

–>Turn off javascript on Internet Explorer or your default Browser
–>Switch to Opera (which is anyway like the best browser on the planet) where zango gets blocked by default http://www.opera.com/download/
–>For those using Firefox select noscript and it will work just fine

A few weeks before we tried making it necessary to register before you can comment, to cut back on the amount of spam the site gets. But it turned out that nobody would bother to register to comment, although it’d just take ten seconds. Comments are very important for a site like BDcomics, so I’m turning off need to register to comment.
Comments are VERY important, especially the “Thank you!”s. Please do comment, and when you find something you appreciate, do say thanks. It means a lot to us. 
Log-in to Comment from Now On June 26, 2007

This has been done to control spam, as well as lessen the load on the comment moderator (mainly me). It will also let contributors post links in comments and having it show up instantly instead of waiting for someone to approve it.
You can login when you are on a specific post. Or you can click on the login link in the sidebar. If you aren’t registered, then please do so in order to comment - it only takes 10 seconds.

2# www.freecomicbooks.blogspot.com a regulary updated site with quite a few classics but LOADS of rapidshare so unless you’ve got premium then avoid
