New Avengers March 28, 2006

New Avengers was launched in February 2005, written by Bendis and drawn by David Finch. With the Avengers team disbanded, and the Fantastic Four and the X-Men unable to act, supervillain Electro shut down the S.H.I.E.L.D Raft installation, a maximum-maximum security prison for super-powered criminals. Trapped on the island were S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman), Daredevil and Luke Cage. They were joined by Captain America, Spider-Man and Iron Man, helped by a seemingly insane Sentry. The riot was quelled, although some forty-two inmates escaped. Captain America decided that fate had brought this group together, just as it had the original Avengers. All but Daredevil accepted the offer. The X-Man Wolverine joined the team following a trip to the Savage Land.
The team’s ongoing mission is to capture the remaining super-powered criminals who escaped during the riot that brought them together.

Green Lantern Corps: Recharge March 26, 2006

For too long, the light of the Green Lantern Corps has been absent from the cosmos. Now, as darkness and chaos descend upon space, it is time for the Guardians of the Universe to revive the Corps’ proud heritage, to recruit new servants to their cause and to recharge the mighty power that once they wielded.
Their lives still reeling from the epic battle with Parallax, veteran GLs Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner and Kilowog lead a new generation of Lanterns into galaxy-spanning action. As old foes plot the downfall of Oa itself, the Green Lantern Corps must first fight to unite its own ranks.

Batman: Hush March 23, 2006

This is the 12 part BATMAN story arc “Hush” which ran from BATMAN #608 to #619
Tommy Elliot was a boy who couldn’t be satisfied. One of Bruce Wayne’s only childhood friends, he cut the brakeline on his parent’s car, intending to kill them both and reap the rewards of his inheritance. Bruce promised that his father, a celebrated surgeon, would save the Elliots. Mr. Elliot died, but Dr. Wayne was able to save Mrs. Elliot died, destrying Tommy’s dream.
Tommy would never forgive his friend for saving his mother’s life.
Thomas Elliot became one of the world’s premier brain surgeons, also mastering oncology, all the while plotting his revenge. He would find the means for his vengeance from an unexpected source: cancer patient Edward Nigma, the Riddler.
Believing the Riddler might be able to resolve some mysteries about Bruce Wayne, he treated Nigma’s cancer with the only means that could work ; a dip in rejuvaniting Lazarus Pit. Suprisingly, it not only cured Nigma but provided the mental acuity to answer his greatest riddle: Who is Batman? Armed with this suprising news, Elliot and Nigma devised a plan to destroy their common foe.
Swaddling himself in bandages and donning a trench coat, Elliot (now called “Hush”) began to manipulate nearly every one of Batman’s enemies and allies in a Byzantine game of cat-and-mouse, culminating on the bridge of his parent’s car crash.
Hush revealed his identity to the Dark Knight, but his revenge was cut short by the gunshots of an aptly double-crossing Two-Face. His body fell into the Gotham River, never to be recovered.

All-Star Superman March 23, 2006
Posted by BDcomics in : ProjectW.org, Sampa1, Superman ,All Star Superman, launched in November 2005, is an ongoing comic book series featuring Superman, written by Grant Morrison, drawn by Frank Quitely, and published by DC Comics. DC claims that this series will “strip down the Man of Steel to his timeless, essential elements.”
This is the second series to be launched in 2005 under DC’s All Star imprint, the first being All Star Batman and Robin. These series attempt to retell some of the history of these characters, but outside of the strict DC universe continuity.
