~wiki
Space Ghost is a character created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. He started out as a superhero who, with his sidekicks Jan, Jace and Blip, fought villains in outer space. In more recent years, he has been retooled as a fictional talk show host.
In 2004, DC Comics published a Space Ghost mini-series, which featured a serious, sci-fi/space opera version of the character and showed his origins for the first time.

The series was written by Joe Kelly and illustrated by Ariel Olivetti. Bach, an interplanetary peacekeeper, is betrayed by corrupt officers, who kill his pregnant wife and abandon him on a desolate planet. Bach is rescued by an alien who gives him both a reason to live and the technology contained in his suit.

Opinion on this depiction is somewhat divided. Some fans appreciated the darker approach, while others disliked seeing the light tone abandoned to fit the more nihilistic contemporary tone of superheroes. In spite of those opinions, the miniseries proved to be a surprise hit, and a sequel by the same creative team is in the works.

My Two Cents:
As I never watched the Cartoon I was New to the “space ghost” and it is a great read with retribution, revenge and JUSTICE

Buck Danny February 3, 2007

Posted by BDcomics in : BDcomics, Comics ,

Buck Danny is a Belgian/French comic strip created by Jean-Michel Charlier and Victor Hubinon, which chronicles the adventures of a trio of pilots in the United States Air Force.

Thhe first half dozen albums recounted Buck Danny’s exploits in the Pacific war. He dueled over Midway, was parachuted into Burma, and fought the Japanese all over the Pacific ocean, while advancing in rank. Buck was later joined by two other main characters, Tumbler and Sonny Tuckson.

The adventures of the three mainstays continue to this day, and although Colonel Danny and his comrades have never aged, they have advanced in history, and the series has always remained faithful to the most recent technology, such as having its heroes fly F-14 Tomcats.
