Site Update – Of Hackers and Comments June 14, 2008

As you may have noticed, BDcomics (as well as BDGamer) was down for quite some time. This was due to a Wordpress hack that allowed the motherf*cking hacker to insert bits of code into the websites’ files to forward visitors to a site distributing malware. This led to the whole site being down, and Google blocking the sites from its search engine database.

The sites have been fixed now, and its totally back. I’m currently working on a customized theme for BDcomics, so please bear with the current theme that looks a little sparse.

In ‘good’ news, I’ve installed the Intense Debate plugin on the websites. This allows for easier commenting, avatars, RSS feeds for comments and threaded comments, a thing that I wanted most. Hopefully you guys will like it as much as I do.

Please leave a comment here if you wish to test the new commenting service, or if you want to say something to the contributors and admins of the site.
