BDcomics was down for the last few weeks because of DOS attacks. It’s now up and running, though some features have been gimped to reduce the load.

Planet Hulk (Complete) April 12, 2007

In this 2006-2007 storyline PLANET HULK, after the Hulk destroys much of Las Vegas, a secret group of superheroes called the Illuminati trap the Hulk and rocket him into space to live a peaceful existence on a planet uninhabited by intelligent life.

After a trajectory malfunction, the Hulk travels through a wormhole and crashes on the violent planet Sakaar. Weakened by his journey through the wormhole, the Hulk is sold as a slave. In a gladiatorial arena, he makes a deadly enemy when he scars the emperor’s face. The Hulk overcomes great odds to become a gladiator, a rebel leader and eventually a king. Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada announced in 2006 that beginning with May 2007 comics, the Hulk will be the focus of the Marvel crossover event WORLD WAR HULK.

“Kabuki is a comic book series by artist and writer David Mack, first published in 1994 by Caliber Press and later by Image Comics. The current miniseries, Kabuki: The Alchemy, is being published by Marvel Comics under its imprint Icon Comics. The series concerns an assassin belonging to a special, government-backed circle of masked and costumed female enforcers called the Noh in near-future Japan and her struggle for her identity.

Unlike most comic series, the plot of Kabuki moves very little over the course of the volumes. Most of the focus is on memories, dreams, thoughts and philosophy. Mack’s characters, especially Kabuki herself, revisit the same scenes and memories many times, rethinking them and their significance.”

(In the pack of Circle Of Blood, Iss#4 Page#24 is corrupt/missing - D/L the single fixed issue as well. Also, Fear The Reaper is a one shot published in the TPB version of Circle Of Blood)

Now, with Captain America’s surrender and assasination, The Superhuman CIVIL WAR is over. Tony Stark has been appointed as director of S.H.I.E.L.D. the International Peace Keeping Force. He has set into motion THE INITIATIVE, A plan for training and policing Super heroes in this brave new world, intended to position a local super hero team in each of America’s fifty states.

“Beyond! was a six-issue limited series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Dwayne McDuffie and illustrated by Scott Kolins. The first issue of the series was released on July 6, 2006 and the final issue on December 6, 2006. It was edited by Tom Brevoort and lettered by Dave Lamphear.

The series follows a group of mismatched superheroes and supervillains — Spider-Man, Henry Pym, Wasp, Gravity, Medusa, Firebird, Kraven the Hunter, Venom (III) and The Hood — who have been abducted by a cosmic entity, supposedly Beyonder, to the alien Battleworld for unknown purposes.”
