I am just reading it… and I gotta tell you, although I HATE the art… the story seems to be one of the best in Civil War…

I see nobody put these up yet… I am sure all of you already have all the 16 issues, but I think it would be ok to just have them on the site, just in case. And yeah, IMHO, this is currently the best of the best X-titles. The only problem is it doesn’t really fit anywhere in the continuity

Astonishing X-Men is the name of several Marvel comic book series featuring the superhero team, the X-Men. There have been three X-Men books to bear the name Astonishing X-Men, the first two were limited series and the third an ongoing series.

In 2004, Marvel used the title Astonishing X-Men for the ongoing X-Men series written by Joss Whedon (best known as the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly and co-creator of Angel) and illustrated by John Cassaday. It is a continuation of the New X-Men title and features a similar line-up of characters, including Cyclops (as team leader), Emma Frost, Beast, Shadowcat, Lockheed and Wolverine.

I must say I am really sorry the storyline after the current one - Torn - which will be named Unstoppable, will be the last of Whedon and Cassaday

Street Fighter II - Udon Comics has released a Street Fighter comic series called Street Fighter II, it was licensed by Capcom. The main story follows a fighter named Ryu. Gouken, Ryu’s master, was killed by Akuma in the first and the #0 issue in a prologue. Ryu must avenge Gouken by defeating Akuma, but without sucumbing to the Dark Hadou.

Well, I am a major X-phile since 1994. And just two days ago I learned there was a comic coming out between 1995 and 1997. It had 41 issues on its regular series, plus a -2 issue and a 0-issue, which actually was a kick-off for a series of comics, in which some TV-episodes were adapted (which I don’t really care for). So, I HAD to find the comics, and I have here the 41 issues of the series, the 0-issue and the -2 issue. Note: The stories in the comics are NOT a re-telling of the TV-Episodes.
